The CA.81 system was the result of that collaboration and it has lived up to our expectations.


At a MAP/street price of $2200 for 8 channels - just $275 per channel for a receiver and bodypack transmitter that is less than half the $559 MAP/street price of the Shure SLX14 receiver and bodypack transmitter.


So was born the Creative Audio brand! (a name I used back in Australia when I was manufacturing commercial AV products.)


We are expanding the range to include other theatre oriented audio products that meet our expectations of quality & value for money.

Where it all began

Since the beginning, bodymics has sought out a cost effective entry level UHF frequency agile wireless  system - we tried dozens and found nothing that we could hang our hat on.


In 2017 we discovered a manufacturer of corporate wireless systems in the upper end of the Chinese corporate AV market and they showed us a good looking nice sounding system they were selling with table-top microphones.  Now our need was different, but we had confidence ion their ability to build what we wanted - UHF true diversity system with 8 receivers in a box that could potentially have more than 24 channels playing nicely together - no intermodulation, no adjacent channel cross-talk etc all at a quality that compared favorably with Shure's SLX system.  That was the brief!
