GoldenVoice series earsets feature either an ultra small "grain of rice" 

premium quality omnidirectional condenser capsules with a flat 20Hz-20kHz frequency response or a small 7mm cardioid mouth facing capsule with a 50-18kHz response.


We manufacture the boom-mic and cable assemblies in China, and run a standard 2% QC validation check before shipping.  Once here we apply another stage of quality control - visual and audible to confirm they meet our specifications.


They are then packed with accessories and instructions.


One year replacement warranty.

We manufacture the boom-mic and cable assemblies in China, and run a standard 2% QC validation check before shipping.  Once here we apply another stage of quality control - 100% visual and 10% audible to confirm they meet our specifications.  They are then packed with accessories and instructions.

Broadway series microphones represent our best value for money units. We recently upgraded this series to use our

premium EC3 capsule - 20-20kHz flat natural sounding response that is extremely easy to EQ in almost any space.


We manufacture the boom-mic and cable assemblies in China, and run a standard 2% QC validation check before shipping. Once in the US we sample test another 4-5% as we combine the earset with their accessories - pouch, clips, windscreens and instructions.

We will phase out the current GoldenVoice earsets and will replace them with models that share the same replaceable cable as the Drury Lane and Broadway series.

DE3Vb mic, boom and earhook

Our first improvement:

Introduction of the BED series which allows users to swap out damaged cables - since this accounted for 70-80% of failures and the additional cost was around $15.00 with replacements in the middle 20, meant most users could extend the average life of a mic considerably at a large cost saving.


Second improvement:

Upgrade the quality of the capsule so all Broadway (those whose part numbers start with a B) microphones now have a 20-20kHz flat frequency response


Improvement Number 3:

We addressed the "broken boom and broken earset question by sourcing a silicon rubber earhook and a virtually unbreakable boom - - the BEV family was released.

The Broadway Series is built around our  premium EC3 capsule for a full 20-20kHz flat response, low handling noise and natural sound.

Our fourth improvement:

Introduction of the Drury Lane series of microphones featuring our new EC2 capsule which can be fitted into a mic housing just 1/8" in diameter.  This lowers the profile by over a third making it easier for an audience NOT to see the mic


Along the way:

In both the BE and BED range we intoduced shorter booms - so now we have 4.2", 3.3" and 2.3"  booms available .


What's next?:

A heavier replacement cable for the BED, BEV, BHD, DE3V and DH3 microphones is in the works for when the thin easy to hide cable is not needed.  We are still researching other materials for our booms that are thinner than our "unbreakable" boom and not as subject to damage from heavy handed folk.

In just 3 years we have made lots of technical and mechanical improvements to our earsets.


Our first product was an early iteration of our BE4 wire frame earset.

CONS:  

  • difficult to shape boom due to the thin wall tube,
  • heavy-handed adjustments to the earhook could also lead to breakage
  • thin cable is easy tpo accidentally stretch causing failures.
