The Mission lav5 earset is the best "near invisible" lavalier under $70, currently available on the market.  It is manufactured in China specifically for us, using mainly off the shelf components that that are then hand selected for precise tracking to specifications.  

At $69.95 for all standard connector/wiring configurations it represents unbelievable value for money. That's about a third of the cost of the leading microphone in the "near invisible" lavalier segment, yet in real world situations - on a theatrical stage - anyone would be hard pressed to hear any difference between them.

All Mission lav5  earsets are available in cream or black, making it even easier to "hide" the microphone against the skin.  You can also apply makeup over the boom and capsule housing to get it even closer to skin color.  Just make sure that no makeup gets into the capsule opening.
